What is this course?
We are an online, go-at-your-own-pace, flower garden and container gardening design course. Our videos and supplemental materials are always available. Our Online Community allows you to share and ask questions of The Inspired Garden Design Team, as well as fellow members.
Why should I take this course?
You wish you had someone to talk flowers and gardens with. You want show-stopping containers for all four seasons. You enjoy planning out your garden and adding to it. We will help you discover your own personal favorite garden style as you weave your personality into our designs. Taking the course all at once or season by season, you’ll learn how to place plants according to height, texture, and color for maximum effect.
Who is this course good for?
Beginner Gardeners looking to understand how design plays a part in creating a showstopping garden that’s pleasing to the eye. We are here with easy-to-follow to follow diagrams, seasonal layouts, and curated plant lists.
Seasoned Gardeners who haven’t had time to learn about how design plays a part in fulfilling your dream garden. We speak your flower language and combine your favorite blooms into unique, well-thought-out designs. Use our designs as a blueprint or as a springboard for your imagination.
Fellow Garden Professionals who want to create one-of-a-kind designs that meet your clients’ expectations with the most reliable plants every season. We aim to make it easy for you as you follow our seasonal layouts to achieve nonstop color for your clients, or infuse your aesthetic with ours.
Which zones are your lessons suitable for?
All zones. This is first and foremost a design course. When referring to our plant lists, you may find some plants that are annuals in one zone but are actually perennials in yours! ALWAYS refer to the plant tag when shopping for plants, or ask your local nursery to assist you in finding plants that are just right for your zone.
If I purchase a smaller course can I upgrade later to the full Masterclass?
Yes! All courses are available for upgrade and we will credit you the difference between your courses.
Once in the course, how do I get help or questions answered?
If you’ve purchased the gardening course, container course, or the full masterclass, you will have access to The Inspired Garden Online Community where you can connect with The Inspired Garden Design Team and with others taking the course. We are more than happy to help with questions about plants, maintenance, and placement.
Do you help with the sourcing of flowers and plants?
Not at this time. We recommend researching local nurseries or reaching out to your community’s Garden Club to find the highest quality plants in your area.
