This gorgeous Tudor home looked like something straight out of a fairy tale, and it needed a garden worthy of its charm
The Inspired Garden helped a client’s tired English cottage garden go from drab to fab with a complete redesign. We overhauled the overgrown beds from the foundation up, building on the shrub structure with additions of boxwood, lilac, butterfly bush, and barberry on the left, and planted a simple, refined row of rhododendrons along the stone wall to the right. To satisfy the client’s request for an elegant palette of purple and white, we planted perennials and annuals in our favorite hues of lavender, mauve, plum, violet, and blush. Agastache, verbena, astilbe, salvia, coneflower, and phlox provide a diversity of tones and heights, bringing grace and interest to every step along the walkway. Photos and video below.
